Sapiens game developer David Frampton released his seven-year passion to the world recently, with it quickly reaching second spot on a global trending list with thousands live-streaming.
This is just one game bringing attention to the gaming sector of New Zealand and developers are calling for more support from the Government.
“There’s this momentum and understanding from the general public that this is an industry to be taken seriously” says Click member, Shrikkanth Sheedharan of The Arcade.
